YOM TERUAH/ FEAST OF TRUMPETS ROSH HASHANAH/ NEW YEAR 1Tishrei Holy Convocation; Sabbath of Rest Yom Teruah traditionally commemorates the start of the Jewish New Year. However, the Biblical New Year begins on the first day of Nissan (the month of Passover). Yom Teruah begins a period known as the High Holy Days - also known as the Ten Days of Awe or Ten Days of Grace - preceding Yom Kippur, the Great Day of Atonement. On this day, the shofars (rams horns) blast to honor and crown our King! T shofars serve as a reminder for us to wake up and prepare for the Day of Deliverance. Jesus (Yeshua) is coming! ( Lev. 23:23-25; Num. 29:1-6; Zeph. 1:14-16; 1 Cor. 15:50-58; 1 Thess. 4:13-18) This Information is from Rabbi Messer's Calendar: http://store.torah.tv/browse.cfm/stbm-2012-torah:-law-or-grace-wall-calendar/4,5114.html Add Comment | AuthorI am committed to mentoring and training Market Place Ministries that will build the Kingdom of God here on earth!
